Every day we have to find new energy to deal with difficult problems and difficult people in order to achieve our goals. Here are some ways to help recreate motivation;
1. Be aware of the challenges
Only roads that leads nowhere boasts of zero resistance. Problems are part of progress. You will hardly ever accomplish something significant without aggravations. Expect challenges because they are channels for positive changes in your life. Great oppositions are often an insignia that you are well positioned for greatness.
2. Do not let your past shape your future
There is hardly anyone alive without a past. It is what qualifies you for a place in the future. You don’t need to carry forward things you screwed up in the past. Simply forget your past and move on. Just every man who got to where he aimed at began from where he used to be. You can always reach your goal irrespective of where you start out from.
3. Learn from your failures
Just every great success you know today has failed at a point. Failing isn’t the in thing, but being able to learn from your failures. Micheal Jordan, the legendary basketball player once reminisced, “I have missed more than 900 shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games. On 26 occasions I have been entrusted to take the game winning shot…and I missed. I have failed over and over again in my life and that is precisely why I succeeded!”
4. Rediscover your passion
All great men are men of passion. You will hardly succeed in a venture that you are not passionate about. Success will most likely meet you at the junction where your passion align with your talent. Get back to the drawing board. What makes you most excited and hopeful about life? What gives you the greatest joy? What is it that you are most desirous about accomplishing in life? Go for it!
5. Remember that success does not just happen.
We make our own luck. You must have to work for your success. The moment you overcome the barriers, your goal is waiting for you. Never allow any obstacle to discourage you. The size of the opposition is an indication of the size of the blessing on the other side.
Keep hope alive and keep keeping on.
